Chilean President Sebastian pinera has lifted a state of emergency
Chilean President Sebastian pinera has signed a decree lifting the state of emergency from midnight Tuesday, the presidential palace said in a statement.
The aim, the communique said, was to get Chile's institutions back on track.
Chile's military announced on the 26th night to lift the implementation of the curfew.

Pinera, 26, in a televised speech, asked all cabinet members to submit their resignations, in order to re-form the cabinet, respond to the people's new demands and adapt to the new situation.
