On November 21, President Yang Jianrong met with the Kuwaiti Finance Minister Dr. Naif Farah Al-Hajraf and his team of seven people.
President Yang Jianrong first welcomed the visiting guests and congratulated the China Investment Office of the Kuwait Investment Authority in Shanghai. He said that the successful entry of the Expo in Shanghai this month is an important measure for China's further opening up to the outside world and a major measure for China to support economic globalization and build a community of human destiny.
The Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade was entrusted by the municipal government to set up a “going out” service center, whose main function is to provide services for enterprises to invest abroad. The establishment of the China Investment Office by the Kuwait Investment Authority in Shanghai demonstrates the firm and friendly relations between China and the United States.
